The Gift of Confrontation taught by PaRisHa Taylor

For years, I was always uncomfortable about dealing face on with issues I did not feel good about. It seemed easier to simply ignore whatever the issue was.

PaRisHa Taylor has taught me an expanded interpretation of confronting. When I consider the meaning to be “coming to the front”, I now experience a neutral reaction. The old responses of shame and guilt do not happen. Instead, I experience a whole new sense of relief. Each time I acknowledge an action I need to take if I wish to change something I do not feel good about, I gain a new respect for myself. Thus it gives me a motive to do more and more confronting of myself.
